I had to revert to posting my emacscarnival entry on the my old hugo blog: curious.galthub.com/blog/2025… .

I really like the control that I get exporting org. It exports complext things cleanly to both HTML and markdown and “just works”. Markdown preview in micro.blog looks good, but then fails to render cleanly. I even tried exporting locally to my hugo blog and bringing in the .md that renders there in preview.

@manton would I get different results if I bypassed the editor? I’m just pasting .md in there now.

@jtr thoughts? (yes, I still need to remove your owl icon…)
